Our guest speaker is Maggie Gunther Osborn, who will speak on “Census 2020: Everyone Counts”. Ms. Osborn is Sr. Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer for United Philanthropy Forum, a national network of philanthropy that serves organizations representing more than 7,000 charitable foundations across America. She will discuss the challenges and importance of the 2020 census to our community and why everyone counts in ensuring a fair and accurate census. More than $1.5 trillion dollars of federal dollars are distributed annually to states, municipalities, and communities based on the census count. If we get it wrong there will be young children, families, the elderly and all of us that will lack resources and representation for the next decade. Help get it right by joining us for the discussion.
