IT IS NOT A PARTISAN ISSUE!

Democracy is under attack and the frequency of these attacks has increased.  Too often they have succeeded.  In several states, rights have been taken away and Democratic rule has been ignored. A right-wing minority perpetrates these attacks, and their only concern is the retention of power.  They are outnumbered, and they know it, so they change laws to impede or limit voting.  Their goal – minority rule.

We all see what is going on in Florida, Texas, Ohio, Michigan, Tennessee, Wisconsin, and elsewhere.  We are very lucky to live in Maryland.  Those of us who want to retain Democracy are the majority.  This majority wants fairness, equality, and protection of women’s rights, racial justice, LGBTQ rights, and many other things we take for granted. All of us, in the Majority, must take action to stop the creep of autocracy.  The most important part of this is to VOTE!
